Team of season 7 profiles

Goalkeepers

Benaglio
Season 3, 518k
Solid, dependant keeper behind BRFC's recent success. Has been a first teamer since he joined, and will be for a long while to come. 5*

Diego
Season 1, 150k
Backup keeper for the past 6 seasons after a short first team role in season 1, now entering his twilight footballing years. Happy to be on the bench, despite not playing in 4 seasons. 3*

Defenders

Hubschmann
Season 3, 1.6m
BRFC's record signing, and a rock at DC since joining. Still going strong at 33, and with Benaglio he's the reason for the divisions best defensive record. 5*

Anchico
Season 4, 25k
Underrated performer at DR and occassional MR. Came into his own this season with many solid performances. Lacks some extra special, but they don't come more solid. 4*

Goltz
Season 1, 350k
Mr Bishampton Rovers, the number 4 shirt has been his since season 1. Near 400 career appearances, and a lifetime in the yellow and blue. 4*

Mineiro
Season 2, 30k
Versatile cover for any DC or DL injuries, Mineiro has featured as part of the first team many times in his long career with BRFC. Now at 33, he may be hanging his boots up soon. 3*

Brandan
Season 5, 36k
Taking over from Mineiro at DL, Brandan has owned the DL position for past 2 seasons and turned in consistant performances. May find it tough in the Premiership at 31. 4*

Midfielders

Emreciksin
Season 1, 300k
Player of the year, year on year. Star performer during season 7, his assists and ratings turn games around. Always great on the ball. 5*

Andersson
Season 2, 0k
Another long serving BRFC star, despite being always dropped by the assistants pick. Had a moment out of the team last season, but has keep likely starter Netinho on the bench this year and turned in a very high average. 4*

Fletcher
Season 5, 495k
The high earner in the team, his 20k a week wage is worth it for the strength he brings to the midfield. Will always be one of the first names on the team sheet. 5*

Ji-Hoon
Season 4, 2k
This seasons surprise package! Filled Pedro's boots amazingly well, and was another one to keep Netinho out of the team. Scored a handful of important goals. 4*

Ghaly
Season 3, 500k
Reduced to a bit part since the purchase of Fletcher, and never quite the tower of strength expected. Made all of his appearances as sub in season 7, often to shore-up the defensive part of the midfield with a 1 goal lead. Getting towards the twilight of his career. 3*

Martinez
Season 7, 158k
Late addition to the side this season, with the ability to cover of the key midfield positions. Haven't seen much of Martinez yet, and largely used as sub. 3*

Netinho
Season 4, 52k
Poor Netinho. The Brazillian genius must have thought he'd walk back into the team, but has been kept out of midfield by Andersson and Ji-Hoon's great season. Can change games from the bench4*

Strikers

Jun
Season 4, 3k
The goal machine had one of his quieter years, despite an unbelievable goal of season contender. Still a sensational player at 32. 5*

de Camargo
Season 1, 250k
One of his best ever seasons, taking a regular slot in the team and leading the goalscoring, finishing joint 7th in the division.  A player of great promise. 4*

van Beukering
Season 3, 50k
Kept on the bench by de Camargo's goalscoring. Always capable of doing something, but concerns over whether he can perform on the bigger stage. 4*

D Carl Magnay (1) - No club
D Mark Roberts (1) - No club
D James Krause (1) - No club
M Gareth Barry (1) - Lowey's Eleven
M Pedro (5 & 6) - Carbon Isotope
M Palazuelos (2 to 5) - No club
M John Mousinho (1) - No club
S Mehmet Cakir (1 to 3) - No club

Up to the Prem!

Great run of results has got BRFC promoted to the WCA Premiership for the first time! Might be champs tomorrow morning...

Emreciksin has been brilliant again this year and Benaglio has been unbeatable, great shot stopper. Ji-Hoon kept Netinho out of the team with several great performances to my surprise. de Camargo living up to expectations and keeping van Beukering out of the team.

Average age is up to 31, which is a concern. Won't be long before the "next generation" are needed.
